Youth Leadership Program

The FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. (FBINAA) hosts a week long training event for high school students at the FBI Academy every summer called the Youth Leadership Program (YLP). To be qualified for this program you must:

  • Be sponsored by a FBINAA Member that is in good standing or a participating Law Enforcement Association; FBI-Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (LEEDA), FBI National Executive Institute Association (NEIA) or Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI (SoFA).
  • Be 14, 15, or 16 years old at the start date of the program.  NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE TO THE AGE REQUIREMENT.
  • Demonstrate high academic standards and good citizenship.
  • Individuals interested in attending the Youth Leadership Program (YLP) need to contact their local Chapter or YLP Coordinator for further information.
  • The Youth Leadership Program recently held their 19th session in Quantico Virginia.
    • 60 attendees graduated on June 30, 2017.

The 20th Session of the YLP is scheduled for June 21-June 29, 2018. All applications must be submitted to the State YLP Coordinator by March 16, 2018.
